Regular wide gaps between upper stripes

The “Munkatch” tallis style is named for the Munkaczer Tallis company, which produced Chabad talleisim in America.

The primitive design of talleisim in Russia/Lubavitch.

Prominent bold stripes, wider garment.
This style of Tallis was worn by both the Rebbe Rashab and the Rebbe Rayatz.
הרב יעקב לנדא, reportedly gave the Rebbe a Tallis of this style from Russia as a gift in the 1960s
The Rebbe wore this type during the years 5722-5736 and again in 5746-5747
The Rebbe consistently wore a Rashab Tallis whenever at 1304 President.

These Talleisim were purchased without silk corners or tzitzis. The large silk corners were added by hand and varied in size.

The knotted tassels on the fringes were usually cut (The Rebbetzin asked Meir Harlig to cut)
For Pesach 5748, the Rebbe got a new Tallis. and the fringes appeared untied soon after, although not cut. This Tallis had a tendency to slip off the shoulders.
After Sukkos 5752 the Rebbe switched to an older Tallis (that had fringes that were already cut)
